In advance of the National Assembly hearings on Bill 96, the Quebec Community Groups Network, an English-language advocacy group, held its own public hearings on the controversial proposed legislation in a four-day virtual event. Me Goldwater was among the first to present on day one of the hearings, whose slate of presenters included former legislators, activists, legal experts and academics.
