ME DANIEL ROMANO
B.C.L., LL.B., M.A., B.A., A.A.

Me Daniel Romano joined the Goldwater, Dubé team in 2023 bringing a wealth of expertise and experience with him. Me Romano has been practicing law in Quebec since being admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Me Romano was the managing partner at Kalman Samuels, Q.C. & Associates Inc., a boutique law firm specialized in family law, personal injury law, immigration law, and international private law.

Upon successfully completing the New York Bar Exam in 1995, and before launching his legal career, Daniel Romano was drawn into the entrepreneurial world, founding and co-founding companies such as H2O Adventures, Teambuilding Montreal, C.A.G.E. Canada, and Spa Mana.

He gained invaluable experience in business, political interests and social activism through his diverse projects which have taken him from Japan to Germany, across the U.S., to the Middle East and to South-East Asia, and spanned various industries, including sportswear, adventure and training, finance, and retail.

With a diverse background in business and law, Daniel has developed a unique approach to his practice. Daniel’s international experience and passion for representing his clients in the courtroom have been instrumental in his legal practice. He is dedicated to having his clients’ voices heard before the tribunals and in negotiations; and especially, to fighting for their rights.

As part of his practice, Daniel is frequently invited to present lectures in law schools and to non-profit federations, social workers, politicians, leaders of NGOs and to other attorneys. He also serves as a mentor to law students at McGill University and to junior attorneys practicing in various domains. Daniel is an active member of several professional associations and non-profit organizations.

Over the past decade, he has served on the boards of or acted as President of several non-profit organizations including La Mandragore (Medieval and World Music Conservatory), the Pointe Claire Canoe Club and the Imperial House Co-Owners Association, Citizens Against Government Encroachment, and Les Guerriers de la Montagne.

In addition to his legal career, he is a martial arts enthusiast and an accomplished athlete. Daniel has competed around the world in sports as diverse as kayaking, skiing, and martial arts. He holds various degrees in Moo Duk Kwan, Kyudo, Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, Kendo, Kyokushinkai Karate, and Judo. He also has extensive training in Krav Maga and Russian military combat arts.
