Called to the Québec Bar in 1993, Eric Kirshner is a seasoned litigator with a specialization in family law having represented hundreds of clients in family and matrimonial litigation, civil matters and contestation of wills.
Well-known among pleaders and judges, Eric has spent most of his life pleading before the Courts, regularly appearing before the Superior Court of Québec, the Court of Québec and the Québec Court of Appeal. He has helped make precedent-setting case law with respect to seizures before judgment and professional liability.
Eric served as a member of the Liaison Committee with the Superior Court in Family Matters, helping the Bench develop and propose solutions to improve the family law system and ensure the proper administration of justice.
Eric also has a certificate in collaborative law and has helped many struggling couples amicably resolve their differences through joint divorce applications.
The depth of Eric’s legal experience combined with his natural affinity for all his clients and his passion for pleading are great assets to our team.
Eric is fluent in English and French. Had he not become a lawyer, he would have been a drummer in a rock and roll band.
