Farah Ghilane


Me Farah Hanane Ghilane earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Montreal in 2015. In 2017, she was admitted to the Quebec Bar, marking the start of a career dedicated to justice.

A passionate family law practitioner, Me Ghilane worked for nearly five years at a firm specializing in this field. This experience was crucial for her professional development, allowing her to gain extensive expertise by handling various complex and sensitive family law matters. She deals with disputes including child custody, divorce, separation, and spousal support issues.

Before joining Goldwater, Dubé in 2023, she held a position as the director of one of the business offices at her previous firm.

Me Ghilane stands out for her ability to sensitively handle delicate family matters, offering legal support while considering emotional aspects. Her ability to establish trust with her clients, listen carefully to their concerns, and guide them throughout the legal process has earned her much acclaim. She is known for her thoroughness, legal insight, ability to develop wise strategies, negotiation skills, and exceptional talent in advocacy.

She also successfully undertakes criminal law mandates, notably in cases related to offenses against the person, mischief, fraud, domestic violence, shoplifting, and impaired driving due to alcohol or drugs.

Me Ghilane argues cases in the Court of Quebec and the Superior Court. She is fluent in both French and English. Had she not chosen to be a lawyer, she would likely have been a journalist or criminologist.
