Me Mario Taoutel is a lawyer at the firm and obtained his law degree (LL.B.) from the University of Montreal in 2020. Mario was carefully selected for an articling position at the firm during what is known as the Course aux stages, a highly regimented process where the top law firms compete to obtain the most promising young jurists from law schools across the province.
During his legal studies, Mario volunteered at Montreal’s The Refugee Centre, where he provided legal counsel to refugees under the supervision of an immigration attorney. He also volunteered with Say Ça!, an organization providing support for refugees and newcomer students, where he taught French and English to young people, helping them integrate with their new home.
The main driver for Mario's legal career has always been his desire to help vulnerable people and families through difficult times.
Mario is fluent in French, English and Arabic. Had he not chosen to become an attorney, he would have been a professional athlete, most likely in football, i.e., soccer, “the real football”.
