With Goldwater, Dubé since 2010, Alexander Carin joined the firm as a law student and completed his articling under the supervision of Me Goldwater. He was admitted to the Québec Bar in 2010 and to the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario) in 2012.
Me Carin completed a Juris doctorae (J.D.) in 2010 at the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Civil Law (LL.B.) at Université Laval. Before starting his studies in law, he completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) at McGill University in Humanistic Studies with minors in History and Anthropology.
Since practicing at Goldwater, Dubé, Me Carin has appeared before the Superior Court, the Court of Quebec, and the Quebec Court of Appeal, and he has participated in many successful settlement conferences (Conférences de règlement à l’amiable).
Me Carin has experience in family law, particularly in the financial consequences of the breakdown of a marriage or end of cohabitation and safeguarding marital assets.
He is fluent in both English and French. Had Me Carin not become an attorney, he would have become the next Indiana Jones.
