Régina McCamus is an articling student at Goldwater, Dubé and obtained her law degree (LL.L) from the University of Ottawa in 2020, where she graduated on the Dean’s List and earned a scholarship for her academic excellence. Régina was carefully selected for an articling position at the firm during what is known as the Course aux stages, a highly regimented process where the top law firms compete to obtain the most promising young jurists from law schools across the province.
Before obtaining her law degree, Régina worked for several years as a litigation assistant in one of the country’s top national law firms and worked as a researcher for a tenure-track professor at the University of Ottawa’s law faculty.
A passion for putting her legal training to the service of others, Régina provided pro bono legal services to a Montreal-based women’s fashion company and performed volunteer work with Pro Bono Students Canada.
Régina is perfectly bilingual in English and in French, and prides herself on building professional relationships with clients and colleagues based on trust and results. Had she not chosen to become a lawyer, Régina would have become a behavioural psychologist.
